Lagoon 450F – The Flybridge

Replacing a catamaran that has come to be seen as a benchmark is no easy task. But the VPLP architects, in partnership with Lagoon and the celebrated Nauta Design studio, have been brilliantly successful in creating the 450. The vessel was introduced in 2011, after replacing the popular Lagoon 440. The catamaran provides everything needed for sailing with small groups and families.

The Lagoon 450 is one of the highest spaced vessels to come out of the Lagoon Factory, with a sleek design, modern comforts and technical additions that make it a breeze to sail.

EXTERIOR

  1. A steering station on the fly bridge with safe access from both sides for perfect visibility and a large sunbathing are
  2. A spacious cockpit, again ideal for sunbathing, on the same level as the galley, with a ventilation panel
  3. A second cockpit, making best use of the forward area
  4. Particularly safe and effective transom platforms for coming aboard or accessing the tender

INTERIOR & CABINS

  1. Interior design by Nauta: elegance and functionality saloon and cabins exceptionally well lit
  2. Natural light in cabins thanks to large glazed panels on hulls
  3. Truly luxurious owner's cabins
  4. Comfortable guest cabins with a side access to the double bed
  5. "U"-shaped galley for greater comfort at sea, equipped with large hot plates, broad work space and plenty of storage
  6. Optimization of the access between the cockpit and the galley engine compartments remote from the living areas and perfectly insulated

DECK SPACE

The placement of the Flybridge ensures great visibility due to its position above the saloon. Not only does the positioning provide safe access from both sides of the vessel, but also makes way for a large sunbathing area.

Ample storage is allocated above deck and throughout the interior.

Complete with both a shaded and a sun filled cockpit area, the deck has plenty of space to relax outside and enjoy your surroundings.

Stern bathing platforms allow for easy access in and out of the water, as well as deck areas to sunbathe and relax.

PERFORMANCE

The vessel is well designed to accommodate sailors on longer journeys and at high speeds. Similarly, the Lagoon 450 is still quiet and powerful in wind speeds of less than 10 knots. With a decent breeze of 12 knots, you can expect to sail 6 knots.
